I have discovered the tension between life in the flesh and life in the Spirit. My life and ministry experience tells me disciples of Jesus, once free, can tie themselves again to the yoke of slavery. This is bondage. If you are in bondage, and you are a believer, you know it and you hide. We hide because we think God would not possibly accept us again. Pornography is ravaging the people of God and the next generation. You and your sons and daughters can be free from the bondage of pornography. That freedom was won for you on the cross by Jesus himself. Finding it will require trusting the promises of God. The next 13 minutes are for every man and woman in bondage to pornography and hiding from God. It is for you who can’t help your teen navigate porn because you are in bondage yourself. It is for every teen thinking God would never accept them, after all this. Step out of the darkness into the light. Trust God, the perfect Father, and you will find unconditional love and freedom from the chains of pornography. Quit hiding.
